Adare Make History In Munster Club Hurling Championship

Adare 1-11 Toomevara 0-10

Adare are through to the final of the Munster Club Hurling Championship for the first time.In the Final they will play De La Salle (John Mullane is Captain ) from Waterford to set up another intruiging clash with Limerick and Waterford renewing rivalry at club level.Adare also created history today with the Magueside club winning their first ever Munster Club Championship match ,Toomevara were the favourites to win today but it turned out that Adare’s first half performance blitzed the Tipp men out of sight and  they went in leading by 1-8 to 0-3 at the interval.Toom gave it their all in the second half and came back to within two points of Adare with 10 minutes remaining.Toomevara were reduced to 14 after a horrendous challenge on Adare ‘s Conor Fitzgerald ,this gave Adare the incentive to consolidate their lead and they eventually ran out winners by four points.
