Jim Walsh Boxes Clever in Opening Maxwell’s Restaurant
It’s Croom and Maigueside Gourmet all the way as Jim Walsh the Irish Olympic Boxing Team Manager in Beijing has major plans for Maxwell’s Lane Restaurant and why not as this man was involved in three of our boxers arriving back to our shores with Olympic Medals.
I experienced a warm and friendly welcome on entering Maxwell’s last Wednesday morning ,the service was great and immediate. There is no better way to start the morning we say in Ireland than the full Irish .(Sausages ,Rashers,Fried Egg,Black and White Pudding and the toast…extras like mushrooms and beans if you feel that hunry!).
Speaking to Jim he said he was very excited about his new venture ,his opening hours are from 8 am in the morning to cater for those on their way to work or coming off shifts, they are open until 5 pm in the evening he assured me the full Irish was available throughout the day if i was passing again.Lunch Hour has seen a great uptake by the local business community in take out Dinners which they also do.I found Maxwells to be very clean and there is ample space with more room upstairs which he plans to expand to evening meals eventually,we wish him well in his new role.
