Racing’s Loss as Jockey Mick Fitzgerald Retires

Champion Jockey Mick Fitzgerald has announced his retirement due to injuries.Mick who is 38 years of age announced his decision today.Mick won the Grand National in 1996 riding Rough Quest.He made the headlines after the race in a BBC Interview “Winning the Grand National is better than sex,This was the best twelve minutes of my life .Sex is anti-climax after this .A great character who will be missed from the Horse Racing scene ,but i can see Mick appearing as a racing pundit shortly though on some racing channel.
