Rugby:Bruff Rugby Club

Bruff RFC ,Limerick Charity Cup Winners 2007

Bruff Rugby Club, of Kilballyowen have to be acknowledged for their outstanding achievements this season and are within almost certain promotion to the AIB All Ireland League Division Two from Division Three .All the more remarkable as they are a county Limerick based club who started out in 1969/1970, a club which has grown from strength to strength from humble beginnings.

The secret of their current success for this season /previous has been in their very own successful youth policy and local based players as described to me this evening by one of their players John Hogan of the Limerick Leader and author of the weekly hookers diary about the club.

Teams that come to Bruff find it hard to win there but leave with memories of their renowned after match pots of stew which have become synonymous ,created by the ladies committee in the club.A great example of a community in action Bruff Rugby Club.We wish them well in their quest for further Glory.

Please be advised that one has to have Broadband to view the Video.

Their Charity Cup Win I filmed when they defeated ULBohs last year.
