Limerick Hurling,The League Begins v Laois

There will local interest in the Limerick team selection v Laois for the first round of the Allianz National Hurling League which takes place in the Gaelic Grounds,this Sunday with a 2.30 pm throw in.Limerick show six changes from the lineout that played Killkenny in the All Ireland Final last September.Croom’s Mark O Riordan is in the starting line up ,he was a sub who came on in the final last year,he will be in the backline with the other ever present  Croom men Stephen Lucey.peter-and-stephen.jpg and Peter Lawlor ,David Clancy (Granagh-Ballingarry) makes his debut at wing back  ,Adare’s Stephen Lavin comes in at wing forward ,Kilmallock’s Paudie O’Dwyer is in for Brian Geary who tragically is out with a cruciate ligament injury ,Brian Begley is out with a leg injury also.Ballybrown man Alan O’Connor is in at wing forward.Pat Tobin is also in the forwards ,he was a sub in the final last year.
