Over three event packed days the ladies will be appraised by a distinguished judging panel who will take into account appearance, personality, energy, confidence, dress sense, rural knowledge and elocution to choose the contestant which best exudes the qualities of today‘s modern rural woman. The festival also caters for visitors, supporters and the public over the three days providing top entertainment to keep everybody happy. There is a host of entertainment on offer all over the town and the streets are always buzzing for the festivals duration. This annual national event is hosted by Offaly Macra Na Feirme. We are extremely fortunate in Limerick to have the wonderfully talented Aisling Quain from Colmanswell representing out county. She is a primary school teacher in Monaleen and her interests include travelling, debating, soccer and rugby. Limerick Macra wish their very popular member all the best in the festival. BALLYLANDERS MACRA HOSTS INTERIOR DESIGN NIGHT
Ballylanders Macra will host an interior design information night on Thursday night 13th November in the Day Care Centre Ballylanders at 8.30pm.  Annette Hayes will be in attendance to offer the latest tips and advice on everything from painting, to curtains, to furniture.  This information night is open to all members of the public who would like to find out about the latest trends in interior design.  Everyone is welcome.
