Ballylanders Macra members and Friends who took part in a sponsored climb of the Galtees on Sunday 11th May in aid of the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind.
The Galtee climb was a great success on Sunday 11th May. Theere was a lot of money was raised for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind and congratulations to everyone who took part in the walk and the avid organisers of the Ballylanders Macra Club.
Macra Clubs are busy training for the tag rugby season ahead this summer. All 5 Macra teams participated in the Bruff tournament every Thursday evening over the last 6 weeks. This league came to a conclusion last Thursday and the infamous Old Crescent competition commences this week. Macra Clubs will compete in the Friday night s league. The best of luck to each team and it promises to be an enjoyable and sociable summer ahead.
