What a year it has been for Limerick Hurling, Niamh Mulcahy was recently awarded the Ireland Young Player of the Year in Camogie for 2007, all the more remarkable the achievement considering Limerick recently won the Gala All Ireland Final which is a B Grade in Camogie.Limerick will now be competing at the top level coming up against Cork, Wexford Tipperary etc.next year.

Niamh with her Father Ger (Ex Limerick County Hurler)
Niamh comes from a very sporting background, her father Ger Mulcahy played for Dromin-Athlacca, Ahane and Limerick for years. When I was speaking with him, he said he was very proud of his daughter’s achievements.
